About Midtown Manhattan, NYC

Ultra-modern penthouses, luxury shopping, upscale dining, and convenient location in the middle of Manhattan

Home to New York City’s most iconic landmarks, designer storefronts, towering skyscrapers, and “Billionaires Row,” Midtown is city living at its finest. Famous art deco architecture, such as the Chrysler Building, Rockefeller Center, and Radio Music Hall are interspersed with ultra-modern high rises. On Billionaires Row, luxury condominiums feature units with marble walls, custom glass cabinetry, deluxe master suites, and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the New York skyline. It’s the most expensive real estate in the world. In Sutton Place, you’ll find a tranquil cul-de-sac community by the East River. Cobblestone streets are lined with early 20th century Neo-Georgian townhouses with spacious terraces and manicured gardens. Past residents include Marilyn Monroe and Freddy Mercury.

You’ll find the flagship storefronts of designer brands on Fifth Avenue, including Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Ferragamo, and Tiffany’s. Midtown is also a bustling business district. Fortune 500 companies, like Bloomberg and Morgan Stanley, are headquartered here. It’s bordered by Central Park to the north and Times Square and the Theater District to the south. You can access public transportation at Grand Central Terminal on 42nd Street. Its central location makes it easy and convenient for residents and commuters to access other parts of the city.

Local Lifestyle

Midtown is the epitome of the hustle and bustle of New York City. The sidewalks are packed with pedestrians and the streets with yellow taxis. Retail stores are open late into the night. But you can find quieter enclaves to the east in the Turtle Bay and Sutton Place neighborhoods.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Midtown has some of the most upscale restaurants in the city. Mastro’s Steakhouse serves high-end steaks, seafood, and sushi in a white-tablecloth dining room with views of their wine cellar. La Grenouille serves haute French cuisine in an elegant setting. Sea Fire Grill has seafood and raw bar offerings served in a beautiful dining room with wood accents and a fireplace.

A local favorite, Il Corso Ristorante Italiano is a small Italian restaurant serving fresh pastas. For family-style Italian meals, Tony’s di Napoli, in the Casablanca Hotel, has comfort food and a wine list to pair. Ocean Prime serves an elevated steak and seafood menu in a sophisticated space.

For American fare, Hillstone serves steak, seafood, and pasta. This fine dining restaurant has a strict dress code. For a more casual hangout, The Smith Restaurant also serves American eats, and it’s popular for weekend brunch. Close to Central Park, Quality Bistro serves contemporary French cuisine.

For shopping, Rockefeller Center has retail stores, luxury brands, and boutique shops. It’s also famous for ice skating in the winter with the iconic Christmas tree in the background.

Things to Do

They also host a slew of community events and live music. Bryant Park has chess games, live music, food stalls, and artisanal vendors year-round.

For sports fans, you can catch a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. This 20,000-seat stadium also hosts the world’s biggest acts.
